Web Marketing with Search Engine Submissions

Most people on the Internet start with a search engine when we're looking for what we want. Search engine submission should naturally be on your list of to-do's when it comes to website marketing. You'll want your website listed in as many search engines as you can. This will extend the reach of your website as far as possible, thus bringing in visitors from every nook and cranny of the net.

Search engine submission doesn't guarantee that you'll receive good rankings, though. A search engine submission will let the search engine know where your page is and what it's about. This is the first step to getting more search engine exposure for your website. To improve your rankings, it might also be a good idea to invest time in the search engine optimization of your individual website pages.

If you're looking to do search engine submissions yourself, be prepared to spend a bit of time at the computer if you're doing more than 5-10 submissions. It can be a very time consuming process, and can get old quick. I know submissions may be grueling, but they are too beneficial to your website to ignore. There's plenty of services online that can help you in this area for a reasonable price and will get the job done quickly. It might be a good idea to check out one of these services, and see if you can benefit from what they offer.

When you combine search engine submissions as well as web site directory submissions, then you will really be helping the link strength of your website. Try to spend your time getting as many links from other places as possible, this is a good way to boost your rankings in search engines. Submissions can also build links when you need them, so you'll be able to see the positive results from your site quicker than normal.

Search engine submissions will let the search engines know that you're here, so they can give you the visitors that your website needs.

Internet Advertising Denver

You are living on the West Coast of the United States and you want to do something on the Internet that will positively impact your business. Maybe you live on the East Coast, and think you have to find a place geographically near you. Maybe you aren’t even in the continental United States. In this day of Internet advertising in Denver or otherwise, it doesn’t matter where your company is located, you simply want to reach as many potential clients as you can.

You don’t want to spend too much money to do that, but you want to see results for what you do spend. You have heard a lot of negatives, but you also know that Internet advertising can be helpful. You aren’t a computer expert. Designing a web page seems like calculus to you. You don’t like the idea of placing advertising into this strange media, but you also have a feeling that you are losing customers if you don’t. What to do?

Try New Media, who specialize in Internet Advertising in Denver. No, you don’t have to place an order right this minute. Just talk to them. Tell them what you would like and what you want to spend. Ask them questions. Ask them how long they have been in business. Ask them what services they provide for you, the business person. Ask them if they can provide any evidence of what their prior customers think about their services. See what they have to say.

Now, try finding a few other places. Ask them the same things. See what they have to say. Compare responses.

The first reaction might be to look at the advertising company who provides the cheapest price. That has its value in the business world, but it also has some problems. There is the old saying that “You get what you pay for”. For what services are you willing to pay?

Internet advertising can be inexpensive. Frequently, however, it is inexpensive for the people who know exactly how to make the Internet work in their favor. Do you? Do you understand the concept of SEO – or Search Engine Optimization? Do you know what search engines might be most appropriate for your service or product? If more than one search engine might be useful, which ones? What keywords will get you the most impact? Will you be better served with a weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly contract? How do you know that you are getting the most advertising for the dollars you spend?

Internet Advertising Denver understands your concerns. They understand that you know your business, but don’t know, and don’t want to know, exactly how an Internet ad needs to be optimized. You just want to know how it will best work for you. The staff at New Media, specializing in Denver Internet Advertising can talk to you and tell you what you want to know, in language you will understand. They have had ten years of success with large and small companies. Most of those companies tried another advertising company, but stayed with Internet Advertising Denver. There must be a reason. Talk to them. You might find that you will stay with them as well. Internet Advertising Denver may be just what you need to get an edge on the Internet market.

The Critical Importance of Website Monitoring

An essential element of the success of any Internet Marketing campaign is the ability to analyze the traffic to coming to your Website. A key business mantra is that if you can't measure it, you can't manage it.

The are a number of techniques that the best Internet Marketing Strategies employ to jump-start Website traffic building. These strategies include article marketing, blogging, search engine optimization and email marketing.

Luckily for the Internet offers a wealth of excellent and accessible tools for analyzing the success of each of these strategies.

Understanding what your visitors do on your site is crucial information, not to mention interesting. If your visitors proceed to purchase a product but then a large majority leave the site when they get to a specific page in the order process then you need to know about it. It could be that this page is confusing or hard to use. Fixing it could increase your sales by 200%. This is just an example; there are many reasons why you want a detailed analysis of your site visitors.

Most website hosting services offer a stats package that you can study. If you're not sure where this is, call up your hosting service and ask them. Statistics are a vital part of tracking your marketing progress. If you don't have access to website statistics get a package that can help you in this area. Do not get a counter that just shows how many visitors you've had. You'll be missing out on vital information that can help strengthen weaknesses in your site.

A good website hosting service would offer traffic logs that provide an invaluable insight into the traffic being referred to a web site from various sources such as search engines, directories and other links.

Unfortunately traffic tracking provided by web hosting services is often in the form of raw traffic log files or other difficult to understand cryptic formats. These log files are basically text files that describe actions on the site. It is literally impossible to use the raw log files to understand what your visitors are doing. If you do not have the patience to go through these huge traffic logs, opting for a traffic-logging package would be a good idea.

Basically two options are available to you and these are: using a log analysis package or subscribing to a remotely hosted traffic logging service. A remotely hosted traffic logging service may be easy to use and is generally the cheaper option of the two. WebTrends Live and HitsLink are two good, remotely hosted, traffic-monitoring services worth considering. However, WebTrends Live is a more complicated system and is suitable for larger ecommerce websites. ?SuperStats? is another recommended traffic logging service.

These services do not use your log files. Typically a small section of code is placed on any page you want to track. When the page is viewed, information is stored on the remote server and available in real time to view in charts and tables form.

Log analysis packages are typically expensive to buy and complex to set up. Apart from commercial packages there are also some free log analysis packages available, such as Analog.

************************************************************

A good traffic logging service would provide statistics pertaining to the following:

************************************************************

* How many people visit your site?

* Where are they from?

* How are visitors finding your site?

* What traffic is coming from search engines, links from other sites, and other sources?

* What keyword search phrases are they using to find your site?

* What pages are frequented the most - what information are visitors most interested in?

* How do visitors navigate within your web site?

Knowing the answers to these and other fundamental questions is essential for making informed decisions that maximize the return on investment (ROI) of your web site investment.

************************************

Did you know?

As with any marketing campaign you may run to assist your business, it is important to track the results of your Internet marketing campaign. This should be done on a continual basis so you can ensure the strategies you are utilizing are working. It can also help you to determine when a strategy is not working so you do not continue to invest time and money on a strategy which is not beneficial to your business.

************************************

The most important aspect of tracking visitors to your Website is analyzing all the statistics you get from your tracking software. The three main statistics that will show your overall progress are hits, visitors and page views. Hits are tracked when any picture or page loads from your server on to a visitor?s browser. Hits, however, can be very misleading. It is quite an irrelevant statistic for your Website.

The statistic that is probably the most important for a Website is Page Views/Visitors. This gives you a good indication of two things. First, how many people are coming to your site, and secondly how long are they staying on your site. If you have 250 visitors and 300 page views you can figure that most visitors view one page on your site and then leave. Generally, if you're not getting 2 page views per visitor then you should consider upgrading your site's content so your visitors will stay around longer. If you see the number of visitors you have increasing as well as the number of page views per visitor increasing then keep up the good work! Always look for this stat as an overall barometer of how your site design is doing and if your marketing campaigns are taking hold. Also, a good stat to look for is unique visitors. Once a person visits your site they will not be added to the unique visitors? category if they visit again. This is a good way to track new visitors to your website. Page views are a good indication of how "sticky" your Website is. A good statistic to keep is Page Views divided by the number of Visitors you have. This statistic will give you a good idea if your content is interesting and if your visitors are staying on your site for a long time and surfing.

Some people are intimidated by web traffic statistics (mostly because of the sheer volume of data available), but they shouldn't be. While there are many highly specialized statistics that can be used for more in-depth web traffic analysis, the above areas alone can provide invaluable information on your visitors and your Website performance. Remember- this data is available for a reason. It's up to you to use it.

Get the Most Out of Web Directories and Article Directories

There are ways around promoting your site. And it isn’t even going to cost you a cent (only a bit of your time). There are what we call web directories and article directories. Web directories, simply, are directories of various categories containing website listings. On the other hand, article directories are directories also containing various categories where you can publish your articles. Why mention the two? You’ll soon find out.

First off, are web directories. Did you know that there hundreds of web directories exist all across the net? What you do is you submit your site to these directories, and there you go – instant links to your site! Did you also know that most of those web directories are free? That’s right, they won’t charge you anything (maybe just some occasional link backs to their site – “reciprocal linking”). What matters is that a site is linking back to your site. If you do this with hundreds of other web directories (thousands, if you have the time and perseverance), you would have that many sites linking back to you. By doing so, your link popularity will increase. Link popularity is the number of links pointing back to your site (the more links, and the higher their PR, the better). It also the basis on how search engines would rank your site. If a search engine sees that you have high link popularity, they would see your site to be important, and rank you accordingly.

Next are article directories. I know what you’re thinking. How would articles help your site get traffic? First reason – by submitting to article directories, you will have the chance to promote your site through the resource box or author’s biography. Like web directories, several hundred article directories exist. And again, they are also free. What you want are directories that let you submit and use their other articles for free. Why use free articles? Second reason – if your site is lacking content and you want people to regularly visit you, use these free articles as your web content (always include the author and source). With your site having more content, more traffic will eventually come to you.

These are two ways of boosting your link popularity, page rank, and of course, traffic. Other than these, you can try getting inbound links through forum participation and link partnership with sites that are related to yours (but that’s another story). I hope you would find this useful, so enlist to web directories and write your articles now.

3 POWERFUL Ways To Profit From Your BLOG... Starting TODAY!

Cyberspace has a NEW marketing tool, even though they've been around for quite some time, yet, ONLY recently have been recognized as a Powerful communication tool for Internet marketers.

If you've been following the latest Internet marketing trends like I have, then you've definitely heard of them.

What's this new marketing tool I'm taking about that every Serious marketer should have in place?

BLOGS! ...(A.K.A. Web-Log).

Now, just for those of you who aren't quite sure what a BLOG is, here's a quick definition:

A BLOG(A.K.A. Web-Log) is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating(usually on a daily to weekly basis) a blog is called "Blogging" and someone who keeps a Blog is a "Blogger".

There you have it, quick and to the point.

If you want to read up more about "Blogs", here's a link to an article I wrote earlier that goes more in depth.

http://www.internetwondersezine.com/blogsexplained.htm

Okay. For the rest of this article I want to focus on how ONE can $$Profit$$ from having there own Blog.

I'm going to list three ways that I think are the Best and most Powerful ways to get the most out of your Blog.

So, with that said, let's go to Profit Tactic #1.

Profit Tactic #1. Writing "Articles".

Writing "Articles" are a very Powerful way to profit from your Blog.

There are many reasons why "Articles" are valuable to your Blog, but, for the purpose of this article I'm going to give you the most important part, and that's your "Resource Box" at the end of your article.

Your "Resource Box" is like a classified ad and holds critical information about You, your websites and what you have to offer them after they've read your article.

The links within your "Resource Box" could lead to your own Product or Service you have to offer, or they could lead to a Affiliate Product related to the content of your article.

This is a great way to give them something of "Value", which is the information within the article, and a great way to get them to take action by way of getting them to click on one of the links within your "Resource Box".

That's "Profit Tactic #1".

Profit Tactic #2. Writing "Product Reviews".

Writing "Product Reviews" is a great way to profit from your Blog simply because they allow you to Soft-Sell your potential customer by way of giving them your personal opinion on the product you are recommending and then providing them with a link if they wish to look into it further, instead of throwing a Sales Pitch at them.

Nobody likes to be sold, but, offering them your insight on a Product and/or Service that could help solve the problem they're dealing with is yet another great way to profit from your Blog and make you look like a Hero.

That's "Profit Tactic #2".

Profit Tactic #3. "Text Ad" Programs.

"Text Ad Programs" like Affiliate Power Ads or Google Adsense are yet Another great way to profit from your Blog.

I've listed these two "Text Ad" programs for a reason, One is a Pay-Per-Click(Google Adsense) and shows related ads to the content on that particular webpage and the other one(Affiliate Power Ads) makes You up to $60 to $100 dollars in commissions on a single click.

Here are the links for you to check them out further if you wish.

Google Adsense --
http://www.internetwondersezine.com/googleads.htm

Affiliate Power Ads --
http://www.internetwondersezine.com/powerads.htm

They are both FREE to join and only take you minutes to set-up depending on your experience.

Here's an example of how mine looks if you were to set-up your Blog through Blogger.com -- http://www.blogger.com with both of these programs. http://theiwe.blogspot.com

The great thing is... they'll be displayed on every page of your Blog when you make a post.

I also provided a link below that shows you How-To set this up "Step-By-Step", making it Easy for you to get started.

http://www.internetwondersezine.com/help.htm

Now, I'm sure there are many other ways to $$Profit$$ from your Blog, but these ones in my mind are the most Powerful.

Well... there you have it, "3 POWERFUL Ways To Profit From Your BLOG... Starting TODAY!".

If you haven't started a BLOG, maybe it's time you considered it since NOW you have some incentive.

I truly hope this article helped you realize the $$Profit$$ potential your Blog could have and how you can start incorporating it... Starting TODAY!

Traffic Exchange

The Magic Of Traffic Exchange

Ever dreamed of owning a wand? A magic little stick with the power of making you a successful internet marketer? Something that brings buyers to your website without having to invest big bucks upfront?

Well, there’s something quite similar to that. It’s accessible day and night, it’s free, and it’s been working wonders ever since it first appeared in the virtual mists of the internet.

Come closer, my dear sorcerer’s apprentice, so I can whisper the mystic words in your ear:

Traffic Exchange!

Just in case you never heard this spell before, here’s what it’s all about: You watch other people’s websites, and then in turn they watch yours. Simple, powerful and often misunderstood, just like every real wizardry.

If you really want to turn around your floundering online business, or you’re lucky enough to meet me before you even got your feet wet, join one of these programs immediately. Better yet, join two of them – I’ll explain that in a moment.

Be careful, though: While on your quest, you’ll most likely encounter fake. Websites that promise you shortcuts. Watching different sites at the same time, clicking on links at lightning speed – these are not for you, my little magician wannabe. Whenever you find yourself earning advertising credits, but unable to tell the headline of a single site you were supposed to study, move on and don’t look back.

Real magic is a game of give and take.

When at last you’ll find yourself spending more time on other users’ websites than necessary for earning your credits, you’ll know the time has come to stay. For just like yourself, other users will be seduced to watch and read. Chances are one of the websites they’ll soon be staring at is yours.

Make it a habit to click for credits daily. Set up your own little ad to promote your URL. And confidently wait for buyers to pour in. All it will cost you is time. And you even can overcome this obstacle by referring other scholars to your traffic exchange. As soon as your referrals start using it, they will earn you free credits. Believe it or not – there are masters of this art who have thousands of referrals. These great minds don’t even need another business anymore, as they earn commissions – cold, hard cash – by simply teaching others the magic of traffic exchange.

I know what’s on your mind now. You’re eager to learn that special secret – the answer to that one question: Where can I consistently find new referrals? Well, again, the answer is:

Traffic Exchange!

Join a second one, and use each of them to find referrals for the other site.

Think about it. Try it. Be amazed.

Simple Steps to Finding a Web Designer

Step 1. Planning

While searching for the right web designer it is important to have a clear idea of what the role your new website will fill. Will it provide information to your customers? Will it serve the needs of your employees? Or will it include an online shopping ability for selling purposes? As a web designer myself, the key information I would want to know from you would be:

- The role of your new website.
- The intended market or audience of your Website.
- Your budget.

With this information I would have a clear understanding of your requirements. Take time to consider what you expect from your website and the type of information you want to get across to your potential clients before you approach your website designer. This will save you and the designer a considerable amount of time and effort.

Step 2. Compile a list of web designers

Creating a list of web designers will allow you to view a range of different designs and find the styles you like. Here are some techniques to help you in your search:

1. Search for website designers on the Internet – browse through websites specifically devoted to website design. Choose and compare at least three website designers to get an overall picture of what is available.

2. Check out a range of industry related websites – spend some time looking at other websites that may be related or are similar to your industry, choose a few different websites that you admire and look for the web design firm in the list of credits or contact the organization and ask for information about the designer. You could also find out if that organization is happy with the level of service they received.

3. Referrals – Ask friends, family and co-workers who they used to design their website. Ask them if they were satisfied with the service they received and if the completed designs were what they expected. Ask if they feel they received value for money.

Step 3. Create a shortlist

From your initial list determine which web design service is best suited to your requirements and your project. The following guide will help you to choose 3-6 website designers:

a. Examine their websites

- Survey the projects in the portfolio and check for consistent quality.
- Ask if the web design service has created solutions for businesses similar to yours.
- Find out which country the design service operates from.

b. Find out their design process

- Find out if the web design service offers a standard process for developing web sites.
- Do they take the time to understand your web site goals and offer a solid planning proposal.

c. Determine what other products/services the firm can offer

- Look for added value products or extra services the design service can offer.
- Make contact with the web design services that are on your shortlist.

Step 4. Secure quotes from each design service

Obtain quotes from the remaining design services so you can compare the quality of design and service to make an informed decision.

- Select the web designers you feel offer the best web design options and services.
- Supply the same information to each web design service and ask for a quote to create your website.
- Ask for a breakdown of costs so you can compare costs against other web design services.

Step 5. Evaluate the proposals

Time spent reviewing and comparing each proposal will help you decide which website design service is best suited to your business requirements.

- Examine each proposal individually.
- Check out how well the web design service presented their web design proposal.
- Keep a checklist for each proposal; look for strengths and weaknesses.
- Compare each proposal.
- Compare the presentation, the content and check if they satisfy your business needs and goals.

Once you have made your decision, advise the design services that did not succeed and let them know why you decided not to choose their proposal. Finally contact the successful design service and tell them the good news.

5 New Rules for Link Building

There's no doubt, one way links work for search positioning. But, have you considered that what works today may not work in the future? One exciting aspect about search engines is that nobody really knows everything. That leaves room for webmasters who are willing to research, test, and put into practice the best search engine optimization techniques.

These five rules for one way linking can help steer you in the right direction.

Rule #1: You have to be proactive. Google considers a high quality link something you have to earn. You earn these links by partnering with sites. In order for a partnership to work, you have to develop a relationship. I think more webmasters are open to establishing vital community relationships. It takes trust and a lot of patience for these relationships to build. Focus on what you can do for someone else first.

Rule #2: Keep an open mind. High PageRank still lingers in most webmasters' minds. But, by concentrating on high PageRank sites, we miss out on other linking opportunites. Most of us understand that PageRank doesn't happen overnight. That's why it's important to seek out lower PR, high quality sites. The advantage is that these webmasters are more open to establishing partnerships.

Rule #3: Site age is a big factor. I've put together my owning ranking system for evaluating a site's linking "worthiness". One big factor is site age. Any site that has been around since the late 1990s is going to have a higher "score". These sites have weathered search engine updates, bad economies, and bad press. All else being equal, I tend to lean towards site age as the determining factor for a potential link partner.

Rule #4: Stop worrying about what you can't contol. I get questions all the time from people wanting to know if they can re-design their sites, or link to other sites, or change hosting companies. They want to know if these activities will ruin their search engine rankings. My response is always the same: do what's best for you and your customers. Don't NOT do something because you're worried it will ruin your SEO work. If you have a solid customer base, your search engine rankings won't be as crucial. The viral aspect of the web is extremely underestimated. Search traffic is only one source of traffic.

Rule #5: Can you be trusted?. Having a solid client list, establishing relationships with other webmasters, provding great customer service. These activites are all based on trust. Can you be trusted to follow through? If you are trustworthy, your link building will be trustworthy. If you're in it for the short term, like all spammers, then you can't be trusted.

The web is wide open for those webmasters who are willing to develop relationships for the long run. In the future, one way links will be graded on trust. So, you need to ask yourself, am I trustworthy? It's give and take. Are you willing to give before you can take?

SEO, Search Engine Optimization

A great beginners instructional video of how to obtain high traffic marks.

Website Keywords

How would you know which keywords are the ones people search for on search engines? How would you know which keywords are searched the most?
These questions can be answered in the simple link I provide below, it is from Wordtracker, and it can identify the keywords that you enter in, and show you a complete set of data of it. It includes: how much its going to be searched within the next 24 hours, how many people searches it, and how popular the keyword is. Why do you need to know this? To max out the traffic you want on your site, you would need to put in some major keywords for your META.

Choose Your Keywords Well

These days, our need for knowledge, information, everyday necessities and novelty materials can be found just with one single click on an internet website. It’s no surprise that people prefer to surf the WWW rather than go to a library or shopping center to look for or buy what they want. More and more people use search engines to help them go directly to the website that contains what they need.

This trend sparked a revolution in internet marketing strategies. Web masters of vendor sites compete with each other to place their websites in the top 10 search results of a user’s searches. Various software utilities were created to boost the chances of high SE rankings. Some of these utilities even manage to cheat a high ranking out of a search engine even when the website itself contains nothing of interest to the user.

As more and more web masters arm themselves with rank boosting software, the effectiveness of their efforts begins to plummet so much so that they find themselves back to where they started. A new avenue for increasing their rankings became necessary. One of these ideas is the saturation of keywords on a single article. The entire philosophy of keywords hinged on their relevance. In searching for a truck, what search strings would the customer use? How many of those search strings will match the keywords? The more a search string matches your site or article’s keywords, the higher you place on a search engine result page. Keywords have gotten to be such a major concern that private enterprises which offer search engine optimization (SEO) services are now making a killing in the internet economy.

The first result that comes out of a search engine is usually the website that contains the most similar number of keywords in the exact same order as the search. For instance, if I used “DIY Wi-Fi antenna” for my search string, the search engine will look for the exact same words and word placement. Now, if I type the word “ask” and perform my search using, the common result would be ask.com. Notice how the search engine immediately went for the website with the domain name (ask.com) that matched my query. On the other hand, if I type “asked”, it still comes out with the ask.com webpage as its top search result. It’s all about relevance.

To be able to fully utilize your website’s potential as a top search result item, you need to orientate your website towards the product or idea you want to promote. If you cannot have the .com name, you can rely on keyword optimization to help you with your search engine rankings.
You do not need to consult a private enterprise to tell you which keywords to use. All you have to do is think about your product or idea and think of how you would look for it in the internet using a search engine.

Keywords will not work for you if you keep them generic. Most customers log onto the internet already knowing what they need or want. Remember, these shoppers can’t hold or examine the merchandise so they want to find out about them fist hand before they actually buy. When they do decide to buy, they have a specific idea in mind. They will use this idea as their search string in search engines. Ergo, if you have multiple products, you need to be able to generate a fair amount of literature containing relevant keywords for each of your merchandise. If you choose to limit your business to a certain area, be sure to include the name of your chosen location into your keyword base.

You also need to take care of the literature or articles you produce for your business. Make sure that they contain the necessary keyword count. Do not sacrifice the quality of your articles for the sake of keywords. Always present a detailed, literate and informative article.

Climb Thousands of Search Engine Positions in Minutes

The goal of compiling this information around magazine subscription keywords is to make it as simple as possible to pick up, read and utilize “the plan” I've been researching keyword related search engine techniques for months now. I've found groundbreaking strategies that impact your website immediately, and long vigorous work that takes time and consistency. Here's a step by step guide to implement everything SEO keyword related.
Come up with 3 “keywords” per page. If you don't have the funds for a wordtracker.com subscription then goodkeywords.com and overture selector tool at overture.com are two of the best free alternatives. Simply type in a vague description related to your corresponding product in the software (IE: if your product is magazines, and you're a magazine subscription agency you would type in “Magazine Subscriptions”, the search on the keyword software would yield popular variations/keywords that stem from “Magazine Subscriptions” like “Discount Magazine Subscriptions” or “Online magazine subscriptions”. Select the keywords that have the highest count and least amount of competing pages. For each individual page you want to have a “primary, secondary, and complimentary keyword”. Since I'm so in love with magazine subscriptions, we are going to use Magazine Subscriptions, Cheap Magazine Subscriptions, and Discount Magazine Subscriptions as the Primary, Secondary, and Complimentary keywords as a model.

TITLES:

On each individual page of your website you will paraphrase the 3 keywords in the title tag. For example on your index page if your 3 keyword phrases were: Magazine Subscriptions, Discount Magazine Subscriptions, & Cheap Magazine Subscriptions, your title would read “Magazine Subscriptions | Discount Magazine Subscriptions Cheap”. There should be 3 keywords for the products you offer, followed by the h1, h2 and h3 header tags.
h1: primary keyword
h2: Secondary
h3: complimentary
Remember when applicable to come up with unique keywords for your individual pages and follow the same steps.

PLACEMENT:

After your keywords have been chosen remember that the first text on the page should consist of any of 3 keywords you plan on using for that page. If you have too, write up a small blurb about the page up top with keyword rich text. When you can, throughout your page; bold, italicize, and underline each keyword at least one time. Do this as naturally as possible making it flow with the rest of the content, Google algorithms are starting to pick up on this so don't “force” the B, I, U, tags. The more you integrate keyword rich text with your content the better you'll get at it.
At the bottom of each page add your keywords in the copyright, this looks natural and is a trick done by many professional optimizers. (IE: if your website is “Magmall.com” and your primary keyword for the Magmall index is “Magazine Subscriptions” you would enter: “© Magmall Inc. Magazine subscriptions”. You can add a © to every individual page, and use your primary keyword-for that page--followed by the company name in the copyright)
Another trick is to add keyword text to your directories. Name your files/directories with keywords. Under your index page instead of index.html use magazine-subscriptions-index.html (remember to mix up your keywords, use your primary, 2ndary, and complimentary keywords throughout the page and directories) You can also add in keywords at the end of images, and links by simply adding the ALT tag at the end of an image, and a TITLE tag at the end of the link. Make sure to finish off the keyword in an alt tag with “image, logo, banner, or graphic” so it looks natural. Same with the title tag in the link. If the link is linking from index page to Newsweek magazine page, the TITLE of the link should consist of a keyword followed by the word “link”. This prevents your page from getting any spam reductions. (IE: www.magmall.com/newsweek-magazine-subscription.html title=”Newsweek magazine link.. Another way to feed your webpage keywords is by saving your images with keyword rich text. (IE: discount1.jpg) (cheap1.jpg) etc
Don't forget to add keywords by your category/navigational links up top. You don't want your navigation links to be images (if they are your losing a great opportunity to add keywords in your anchor text). Make as many links on the site text links, so you can stuff keywords into the anchor text as much as possible

A domain name is really just your site address on the internet. It's where people can find you as its your online identify, and so from here the article name comes.

Domain names have two parts: the label and the extension. There are over 20 domain names extensions to choose from. Popular ones are .COM and .NET are typically used by non-profit companies, where .ORG used by non-profit companies, but its not a rule at all times, it return to whom register. You can also register domain names that are specific to a certain country such us .US, .UK and .DE correspond to the United States, United Kingdom, and Germany respectively.

Once you have registered the domain name, and complete developing the site you will need to host it on a web server so people can browse it from their pcs.

I just say that to make the matter clear to you, so we know where we are going. At this time, let us focus on selecting the best domain name for your site.

The Best Domain Name for Any Web Site

Visitors takes the first idea about the site from its name that you choose for it, nobody else will do this task for you, nobody again. We highly recommend you register a domain name that fits with the message of the site.

Before anything else you have to decide whether traffic is in your plan or not, does traffic is in your plan?

If your answer is yes, you should contain one of major keywords in the domain name. The idea of that it is one of the factors that search engine rely on when populate your site.

While if you plan to create a site for a local business, its better to register your company name instead of trying to capitalize on the search engines presence. You want create brand awareness in your work area.

To explain that more, since you addressing customers in New York you will not be aware of California visitor who finds your site by Google search.

More if you have your own works and you want people to see them a domain name with yours name or yours family name is ideal in this case.

Differences in Domain Name Registration

When choose a registrar put these factors in your mind: longevity, stability, and reputation. There is many companies for domain name registeration such as networksolutions, register, and others. Its not a matter most companies give the same services but there is a point here, the price differ. Me, I preferred to register my site flashonair.com through godaddy.com.Their prices begin from 2$ and at the same time low price absolutely doesn't mean that GODADDY is not a good company to rely on.

Note: keep in mind that the domain name is not only the factor weighed by search engines when deciding your rank, there are others. The content of web pages and site's popularity is important in determining site rank.

Hack some more tips on choosing the best domain name:
• Don’t register a domain that are too long or have many syllables. Think in short names. You want your site be easy to remember so the visitors come back, not all visitors bookmark the page, are I am wrong in these point?!

• Register multiple extensions(.net,.org, etc). Be aware that here I am not push you to register to get money for that. The idea is when you register multiple extensions for the same domain name besides the main one, you protect your name from stolen.

• You don't have to build a site on all the domain names. You also can target people type on of other extension to the main domain name. It's easy achieved by sign up in a service called domain name forwarding.

How to Register a Domain Name?

Reserving a domain name is easy and very cost friendly. I choose GODADDY. You may choose GODADDY too, you may not. It return to you, just think in the best domain name for your site.

You Should Protect Your Privacy

As you registering the domain name you have to select either you want it to be private or not.

A private domain name means that your information(name, email addresses, etc) will be out of the global internet database. I recommend you to choose this option, and I want to say that the choice is of yours.

It's Time to Register Your Domain…

If you are plan for a site and there's a particular domain name in yours mind, its good to register its quickly. There is no guarantee that a domain name available today will be available tomorrow. Here is a link to GODADDY home page where its easy to register domain name, register my domain name through GODADDY.

GooglePage and AdSense Solutions

GooglePage (tm) is free and easy to use. GooglePage offers 41 page skins (templates) and a simple editor to create pages. Simply add text, upload pictures, video, music and files, click “publish” and your page exists on the world wide web. Google offers 100 Mb of space and is coupled to your GMail account. As with all Google services, there are adequate official and non-official help pages and forums for GooglePages.com (or GPC) which is still in testing phase (Beta).

Page Design Techniques

You can combine the Page skins with four different layouts as each page requires.

Example: You might decide that your home page layout should have a left column for navigation, a center column for a short explanation and a right column for pictures all on a grey skin background. Your next page might have much more text and you can decide for the left column navigation but to combine the center and right column into one all on a white background. By shifting between the Change Looks and Layout options you can make each page different from the other. You also have the option of using headers and footers when and where you want.

More Flexibility

If you require more flexibility you can add your own html commands if you are familiar with web design. Simply click the “Edit html” link on the bottom of the GooglePage editor and add whatever you need. If you require any sort of scripting such as Google AdSense tm, you can upload html files and link to them.

Example. You create a page and decide you want to add Google AdSense in the left column. Simply publish the page and view it online in your browser. You can either view the page source or save the file as an html document on your hard-disk. Using a text editor you can then add the AdSense script in the left column and close the file. Go back to your GooglePage editor and upload the xx.htm file from your hard disk. Link to it from existing GooglePage documents and you have a custom page. A small disadvantage at the moment is that you cannot use the GooglePage editor to make changes to the page since the editor will automatically strip out the script. This will change.

Some users of GooglePages have commented that the editor lacks some fundamentals which exist in GoogleBlog. However, it must be remembered that the purpose of GooglePages is a simple way for people to create web pages for free. Plus, GooglePage is still in Beta and like all Google products, under constant review.

How to sign up

You need a Google Mail account (Gmail) to sign up for GooglePage. Currently whatever name you choose for your Gmail account becomes your GooglePage name automatically (Google hints that this will change). For example, if you sign up for a GMial account using John Doe, your free web page will be called johndoe.googlepage.com.

What can you create?

Already users have created clever and artistic personal, business, photo, religious, technical and entertaining web pages. There are also tips in the forums as to how to add AdSense, page counters, video, music and Googlemaps to GooglePage.com. Start today and add yours.

Search Engine Optimization Keyword vs. Key Phrases

OK, lets get to business. If you have ever advertised or marketed online, you have experienced being bombarded by various marketing terms. For every term that exists, there exists multiple opinions on how to employ the tactics SEO professionals prescribe.

Among the most focused upon aspects of search engine optimization is the infamous keyword. Marketers are told to choose the right ones and to inject them into their content to allow for the targeted traffic to find them via search engines.

Having read multiple search engine optimization articles and employed much of the same techniques on the website I own, it is amazing to see the lack of willingness to delve a bit deeper into the business of employing those carefully chosen keywords.

Sure, we all know that certain keywords in your web content can net you more traffic than others, but many would-be marketers find the technique of putting the keywords on their pages and wait for traffic, to be an ineffective and saturated one. Bidding wars and the shear number of retailers utilizing the same strategy commands the need for innovation when marketers attempt to stand out of the crowd.

One such tweaking of the usual keyword strategy is to elect for a more comprehensive key phrase strategy instead.

Think about it. Many of your competitors are using the same keywords you are. They are attempting to secure the same sell that you are and they are listed in all of the same places that you are.

This makes excellent positioning in search engines speculative at best. Dont leave it that way. Employing key phrase techniques to further enhance your websites performance in search engines and communicating your message is an important part of search engine optimization.

For instance, the word (restaurant) is a heavily searched word every month. Millions of web surfers use the Internet to find restaurant locations, contact information, directions, menus, and much much more.

However, the word restaurant is rarely searched alone. If web surfers simply searched the word restaurant it would return too many irrelevant listings. Italian restaurant is no better. Most people will search terms like Italian Restaurant Houston Texas or even Italian Restaurant Houston Texas North Side. The object is to have the exact string that they are looking for appear on your website. Utilizing the key phrase strategy zooms your pages right past competitors that only focus on stand-alone keywords.

The above example is a simple one, but the principle applies to all keyword deployments. Combine this strategy with the strategy of developing back links to your website and your website gains the edge in search engines.

In the competitive arena of the Internet, word combination or key phrase strategies are the easiest way to rank better in the search engines.

A website that has the word (tires) on it twenty times can be eclipsed by a website that has discount snow tires Houston Texas on it once.

To determine what web surfers are searching, you can use keyword-analyzing software. Some search engines actually provide keyword tools to help you in your quest. Either way, it is imperative to choose phrases that are hot and mesh them into your communication at least twice.

Why twice? This will give you an even better chance of placing well in the search engines, as many webmasters tend not to use phrases twice to avoid being redundant in their communication. However if done well, it can appear not to be redundant but rather informative. Use of qualifying terms such as, (to recap) or (I say again), nullifies the visitors feeling that he/she is being told the same information. It makes them feel that you are just being thorough. While employing key phrase techniques requires a tad more thinking, its benefits can be quite substantial.

Three Traffic Triggers

Have you heard of a squeeze page before? If you are like many other internet users, you haven’t. If you are trying to make money, through selling an affiliate product or service, you are advised to examine squeeze pages. After giving it a close examination, you will see that there are a number of different ways that squeeze pages can help you.

When it comes to squeeze pages, you will find that they have a number of different definitions. In fact, it is sometimes difficult to pin down the exact meaning of a squeeze page. Although there are some variations, all squeeze pages, no matter how they are defined, have the same goal. That goal it to help you get the names and email address of internet users; internet users that you can then send emails or newsletters to. If properly executed, a squeeze page, which allows you to create an email list, will not only increase the amount of traffic that your website sees, but it may also increase the amount of affiliate sales you make.

As it was stated above, there are a number of different definitions for a squeeze page. There are many professional who believe that squeeze pages are simply a page where you have a small form that your visitors can fill out. Many times, the only information asked for is a first name and an email address. Once an internet user provides you with that information, you can then send regular emails or newsletters, whichever you prefer.

While many squeeze pages have nothing on them, there are many professionals who feel that you should provide a little bit of information. This is fine to do, but you want to be carefully with providing too much information or making your information appears as if it spam. For instance, if you are running a website that is centered on caring for your pets and the affiliate products that you are selling are pet related, you may want to write a little bit of information on pet care. However, when doing so, you do not want to promote your products now. Providing too much information may not only make it so your visitors don’t need to signup for your email alerts, but it may also discourage them from doing so.

There are also many professional who feel that you need to give visitors a reason to sign up for your newsletters or email alerts, like an incentive. The decision as to whether or not you want to offer an incentive is yours to make, but it is important to note that incentive have a positive track record. As an incentive, you may want to give you customers something free, such as en e-book. Keeping with example mentioned above, you may want to offer visitors are free e-book on pets, just for providing you with their name and email address. In most cases, this approach works wonders. It is a known fact that everyone loves free stuff, especially if it is something that they could use.

Now that you know exactly what squeeze pages are or what they can be considered, you may be wondering exactly why you should have one. As previously mentioned, internet users provide you with their names and email addresses on squeeze pages. Sending unsolicited emails can be considered spam and you may also be reprimanded by your web hosting company, your email provider, or even your affiliate programs. When an internet user actually provides you with their contact information, your email contact is no longer considered spam. In fact, you can send emails or newsletters to the individuals in question, as often as you would like. This is when you could then take the opportunity to promote the affiliate products that you are helping to sell.

Developing a squeeze page is relatively easy to do, especially if you have some web design experience. If you are unfamiliar with web design, you should still be able to create your own squeeze page, with assistance from a site building program or a professional web designer. If you would like to be able to promote your websites and your affiliate products as often as you would like, you are urged to create yourself a squeeze page today.

10 Easy Tips to Help You Profit From Your Website

Hundreds of thousands of webmasters across the world make money online with their websites. Why not you? Here are 10 easy tips that you can use on your website to make it profitable. As with any good website however, you first need quality original content!

1. Google AdSense - Make money selling advertising space. While banner ads are not worth your time for the most part, Google AdSense is. Many web site owners make a comfortable living off of AdSense profit alone.

2. Affiliate Marketing - Make money referring your website traffic to other websites. Don’t have a product? That is 100% O.K. Just add someone else product to your site by joining an affiliate program and forget about it. If you have related content (free information) you will see a slow trickle of income from your affiliate links.

3. Write an eBook - Sell your own idea or product. I know it sounds like a day dream, but people do this all the time. In fact, it is the most common method that people use to make money. Write an eBook, offer consultations, or make something people will use. In this category, you are only limited by your imagination.

4. Create an online directory - Sell text links. Add a directory area to your site and offer to place links to other web sites for a small fee.

5. Become a Paid Blogger. Offer to blog for companies. Blogging is fast becoming an important link building strategy for online companies. There are hundreds of small businesses that could benefit from a professional blog but, do not have the resources to hire a full time employee. You have a website, put it to use!

6. Open your own eBay store. Buy low, sell high. There is no easier place to sell than online with your own eBay store. You can concentrate on a particular type of product like coins and antiques or you can sell a wide variety.

7. Host an online competition. Offer prizes for the first, second and third place winners. Your competition can be on almost anything. Think of a way to offer a competition, create a small entry fee and you are set!

8. Create a member only area. You can create a members only site about anything from Fan Clubs, Online Newsletters, Courses and Training, Stock Trading Tips, Dating Sites, Personal Advice, Horoscopes, Family Trees, and so on. Again, your only limitation is your imagination. If you have a site already up and running, offer something in your paid member’s area that they cannot easily get for free.

9. Begin a paid advice service. Free information is great and will draw readers to your site. Once there, help the reader out with some basic information. Save the real “meat” for those that are willing to pay a small fee.

10. Sell your site. Why drag on a project for years when you can get in, get out and turn a quick (albeit smaller) profit? Create your site, get it listed in the search engines, make sure you get a few dollars a week in online advertising and sell your site for a few thousand dollars.

Increasing Your Search Engine Ranking

===================================================

Increasing Your Search Engine Ranking

===================================================

The methods employed to increase your search engine

rankings may seem like rocket science to you, so you have

probably avoided dealing with this issue. I am here to tell

you - the time has come to face your website! A high search

engine ranking for your website is so essential that if you

have the slightest desire to actually succeed in your

business, there is no way you can continue to avoid this

issue.

At least 85% of people looking for goods and services on

the Internet find websites through search engines such as

Google, Yahoo, and MSN. The idea of optimizing your pages

for high search engine rankings is to attract targeted

customers to your site who will be more than likely to make

a purchase. The higher your page comes up in search engine

results, the greater the traffic that is directed to your

website. That's what search engine optimization is about.

You can immerse yourself in all the technical information

available online to figure out how to optimize your web

pages to achieve higher rankings. Or you can look at a few

simple items on your pages, make some small adjustments,

and most likely see improved rankings quite rapidly. The

first item you should examine is the title bar on your

homepage.

The title bar is the colored bar at the top of the page.

Look at the words that appear there when you access your

home page. To increase search engine rankings, the words on

your homepage's title bar should include the most important

keywords or phrases, one of which would include your

company name.

Then click on all your links and examine the title bars on

the pages you access. Each title bar on every single page

of your site should contain the most important keywords and

phrases taken from the page itself. However, avoid very

long strings of keywords, keeping them to six words or

less. Avoid repeating keywords more than once in the title

bars, and make sure that identical words are not next to

each other.

The next item to put under your microscope is your website

content. Search engines generally list sites that contain

quality content rather than scintillating graphics. The

text on your site must contain the most important keywords

- the words that potential customers will be typing into

search engines to find your site.

Aim to have around 250 words on each page, but if this is

not desirable due to your design, aim for at least 100

carefully chosen words. If you want to achieve a high

ranking on search engines, this text is essential. However,

the search engines must be able to read the text, meaning

that the text must be in HTML and not graphic format.

To find out if your text is in HTML format, take your

cursor and try to highlight a word or two. If you are able

to do this, the text is HTML. If the text will not

highlight, it is probably in graphic form. In this case,

ask your webmaster to change the text into HTML format in

order to increase your search engine rankings.

Next we come to what is called meta tags. I know this

sounds like something out of science fiction, but it is

really just simple code. Many people believe that meta tags

are the key to high search engine rankings, but in reality,

they only have a limited effect. Still, it's worth adding

them in the event that a search engine will use meta tags

in their ranking formula.

To find out if your page is set up with meta tags, you must

access the code. To do this, click the "view" button on the

browser menu bar, and select "source." This will pull up a

window revealing the underlying code that created the page.

If there are meta tags, they usually appear near the top of

the window. For example, a meta tag would read: meta

name="keywords" content=. If you do not find code that

reads like this, ask your webmaster to put them in. This

may not do much for your search engine rankings, but any

little boost helps.

Lastly, we come to the issue of link popularity. This is a

factor that is extremely important in terms of search

engine rankings. Almost all search engines use link

popularity to rank your website. Link popularity is based

on the quality of the sites you have linked to from your

links page.

If you type in "free link popularity check" in a popular

search engine, the search engine will then show you what

sites are linked to your site. In the case that there

aren't many sites linked up to yours, or that the sites

that are linked up have low search engine rankings,

consider launching a link popularity campaign. Essentially,

this entails contacting quality sites and requesting that

they exchange links with your site. Of course, this

requires checking out the rankings of the websites you want

to link up with. Linking to popular, quality sites not only

boosts your search engine ranking, but it also directs more

quality traffic to your website.

Search engine rankings are extremely important for a

successful Internet marketing campaign. Before you go out

and hire a search engine optimization company, try taking

some of the simple steps listed above, and see if you can't

boost your rankings yourself. Don't ever ignore this

all-important factor in Internet marketing. Remember, the

higher your search engine ranking, the more quality

customers will be directed your way.

Five Ways to Get Ton of Free Traffic

#1 - Write articles Ok so the first way to get traffic is not particularly unique. But the fact is that you will get lots of traffic by writing articles. The traffic won’t come immediately but it will come. Articles will also bring link popularity. I wouldn’t be doing my job if I wrote about free traffic and neglected to mention articles. If you write one article a week for the next year at the end of that year you will have an unstoppable flow of traffic and where there is traffic money follows.
#2 - Post ads on other peoples sites. Now you’re probably thinking tell me something I don’t know’ but think about this for a moment. If there is a site that has a lot of traffic, gets spidered frequently and has excellent page rank. Do you think pages on that site get good search engine rankings? You know! Here in the UK there is a site called UK Free Ads. It has an Alexa rank of about 20,000 and, you guessed it, you can place ads on it for free. All you have to do is find your equivalent of UK Free Ads then find a keyword phrase without too much competition and write an ad optimized for the keyword phrase. I’m not guaranteeing a top ten listing but a percentage of the ads you write will place well in Google and other each engines. You might even get a number one position. The best of these sites allow your url to be included in the listing. But better than that some of them allow you to upgrade your listing and have that listing redirect to the url you supply. Top Tip: Wait until the page has been spidered and ranks well then upgrade and have the listing redirect to your web page.
#3 - Get your site mentioned in mailings from complimentary sites in return for you mentioning theirs. You’re going to need a list for this. But assuming you have one why not contact other site owners with a list and ask them to mention your site in their next mailing. In return you mention their site in your next mail. This doesn’t have to be a heavy sell, just a mention of a friend’s site. At worst this strategy will put your site url in front of a lot of people who may not have heard of you. At best you will get a lot of free visitors. This strategy should work out just fine if you partner with a site that isn’t in direct competition with you.
#4 - Instead of just trading links why not trade home page links or ads. Next time you visit a site and they have a space for an ad and are inviting you to buy that space, why not contact them and offer to exchange the ad space for a similar position on your site. Or why not barter an ad for a mention to your mailing list. A lot of smaller sites have trouble selling their ad space, but these same sites still have respectable traffic flows.
#5 - The last free traffic tip is probably the hardest to pull off but also the most regarding. The strategy is to offer something of real value for free. If you use Adwords you no doubt know about Mikes Marketing Tools where you will find a ‘keyword wrapper’. Or if you are into natural search engine traffic then you probably visit Market Leap to find out how many pages you have ranked. People need these tools and everybody recommends these sites. They offer a valuable resource for free. Once you do that, word spreads quickly. Mikes Tools has an Alexa rank of 5,000. Market Leap has a rank of 900. Yes it’s in the top 900 websites online. Do you think you could make some money with that sort of traffic? To pull this off you need a tool that is useful to your target audience. Maybe some sort of calculator or a data manipulator or converter. Although a software tool is an excellent choice it doesn’t have to be software. Think what tool I use that I could make available to others.
#Conclusion - If your goal is to build free traffic to your sites then you need to be thinking about this all the time. As you surf keep this need in the back of your mind. Every site you visit think ‘how could I get free traffic from this site’ or ‘what is this site doing to get traffic that I could copy’. Google AdSense and Blogs

If you have a blog, or are thinking about starting a blog, then you are definitely going to want to read this article. It’s all about how to line your pockets with money that’s just waiting to be made without working much harder than you already are.

No only are blogs the hottest thing on the ‘net right now, but they are custom-made for Google’s AdSense program. Why? It’s simple. Blogs represent constantly changing and fresh content to Google’s search engine spiders. Feeding fresh content to those little spiders is just like tossing raw meat to a tiger. They just gobble it up. The more pages of your blog that get indexed, the more traffic you get. And the more traffic you get, the more exposure your AdSense ads get. Are you beginning to see where I’m heading here?

It’s not just Google that loves new content, all of the major engines do. In fact, some web-savvy bloggers are testing Google ads on one page and Overture ads on the other. It doesn’t take too long to see which ads are doing the best when you have nearly side-by-side comparison statistics to look at. Just don’t make the mistake of putting Google and Overture ads on the same page together. While they won’t kill each other like a pair of Siamese fighting fish in the same bowel will, you will be violating both sites’ Terms of Service, and it isn’t worth killing the goose (geese) that laid the golden egg.

It’s a snap to set up Google AdSense ads on your blog. Everything you need to know is right inside of the Google control panel. What’s not so easy is figuring out what ads are going to appear on each page. Since Google targets your key words, and your blog articles could possible wander towards any subject, you never know what you’re going to get.

Well, “never” is a strong word because there actually IS a way to pre-test your blog’s ads before you post your newest edition. Here’s what you do:

• Write your blog article like you normally would
• Plug in your AdSense code and then post your newest page to a sub directory that’s not part of your blog.
• Click refresh a few times until Google wakes up and starts sending ads.
• If you don’t like what you see then fine-tune the article until you see the types of ads that you’re looking for.

With some ads paying as much as $5 per click or more, I’d certainly spend an extra 30 minutes or so tweaking my blog. That’s for sure.

If you’re working hard to get your blog in front of visiting eyeballs, then it doesn’t make any sense at NOT to be using Google AdSense to draw every penny out of your site that’s possible. OK, that’s the end of the article. Now get busy tweaking your blog and checking your ads. You’ve got money waiting to be made!

Google Adsense - The Easiest Money To Make Online?

Fact number 1: Kids in high school are making thousands of dollars every month with Adsense.

Fact number 2: Housewives, retirees, mom and dads, who are just staying at home and have never made a dime on the internet have created full-time incomes by simply placing Adsense ads on their web site or blog.

These are just some of the “super Adsense earners”. You may have already heard about their story for they are among the few who are on their way to making millions worth of cash just by promoting Adsense sites.

Anyone, any age and gender can become money generating Adsense publishers as long as they what it takes. How does one go about this Internet advertising?

For the last couple of months, Google Adsense has dominated forums, discussions and newsletters all over the Internet. Already, there are tales of fabulous riches to be made and millions made by those who are just working from home. It seems that Google Adsense have already dominated the internet marketing business and is now considered the easiest way to making money online.

The key to success with Adsense is the placing of ads on pages that are receiving high traffic for high demand keywords. The higher the cost-per-click to the advertiser, the more you will receive per click from your site. Obviously, it does not pay to target low cost-per-click keywords and place them on pages that do not receive hits.

With all the people getting online and clicking away everyday, it is no wonder why Google Adsense has become an instant hit.

For some who are just new to this market, it would be a blow to their pride knowing that their homepage is buried somewhere in the little ads promoting other people’s services. But then, when they get the idea that they are actually earning more money that way, all doubts and skepticism is laid to rest.

There are two major, and clever, factors that some successful webmaster and publishers are learning to blend together in order to make money easier using Adsense.

1. Targeting high traffic pages on your website. If you check on your logs, you will discover that many of your visitors are taking advantage of the free affiliate marketing resources and ebooks that you are offering on your site. In simple words, your ads are working effectively and are generating more clicks. It also means more money for you.

2. Placing Adsense links on pages that are producing little, or better yet, no profit. By placing Adsense on a free resources page, you will reduce the amount of potential customers being lost to other sites. Tricky, but effective nonetheless.

When learned to work effectively, these two factors are actually a good source of producing a minimal amount of revenue from a high traffic page. Many people are using this strategy to pick up some extra and cash with Adsense. This is also especially rewarding to informational sites that focus their efforts on delivering powerful affiliate link free content to their visitors. Now they can gain a monetary return on their services.

With the many techniques that people are now learning on how to make the easiest money by their Adsense, it is not surprising that Google is trying everything to update and polish their Adsense in order to maintain their good image.

The possibility of adding is 2nd tier in Adsense is not impossible. With all the people spending more time in their Adsense now and still more getting into this line of marketing, there is no doubt about the many new improvements yet to be made. Imagine the smiles on the faces of the webmasters and publishers all around the world if ever they sign up for sub-affiliates and double or even triple the amount that they are already earning.
The one particularly handy money-making feature that is available with Adsense now is the ability to filter out up to 200 urls. These gives webmasters the option to block out low value offers from their pages as well as competitors to their websites. Talk about taking only those that are advantageous and discarding the ones that seem “useless”.

With Google Adsense, the possibilities are limitless. Yet there is also the possibility of someone taking advantage of the easy money process that this internet marketing is doing. If you think more about it, these negative factors may force Google to break down and thrash Adsense in the process. If that happens, people would have to go back to the old ways of internet marketing that does not make money online as easy as Adsense.

For now, however, Google Adsense is here to stay. As long as there are people wanting to earn some easy cash online just using their talents, the future ahead is looking good. Besides with all the strict guidelines that Google is enforcing over Adsense, it will take awhile for the Adsense privileges to be spammed and even terminated.

5 Ways ANYONE can Make Money Online

First of all let me start with an apology. I’ve slightly misled you with the title. When I say ‘5 ways ANYONE can make money online’ I don’t mean anyone can make money online.

To be able to make money online you have to have two things - a computer and an Internet connection. So only people with these two things can earn money on the Internet.

‘Don’t be stupid’ I hear you saying ‘If I didn’t have these I wouldn’t be reading this article’. Correct (and I know this) the point I want to make is there are no barriers to earning money on the Internet. You don’t need to be an Internet ‘whizzkid’, you don’t need loads of money to invest and you don’t need previous experience. All you need is your trusty computer an Internet connection and a willingness to learn and work to achieve your goals.

Ok enough of my pre-amble let me give you a brief overview of the ways ANYONE can make money online.

Paid Online Surveys

Companies spend millions of dollars each year asking people like your self questions on various topics. Why? Fundamentally they need to know what people think and the only way they can do this is by asking people. The more they know about their customer base the better they will be able to market their products. And the better they market their products the more of these products they sell and the more money they make. As a result your opinion is valuable to hundreds of companies each year and these companies will pay as much as $75 per survey (average payment however is probably between $5 – $15 per survey).

You won’t earn enough to give up you job but you can earn a tidy extra sum each month.

ebay

Now I’m sure you’ve heard of the phenomenon that is ebay. This online service allows millions of people across the world to buy and sell goods in a giant online auction house.

Many people make money from ebay by selling unwanted items. However some people have gone further and make a living by buying stuff (from flea markets, yard / garage sales, charity shops etc.) and selling it on ebay at a profit.

Some of the really clever people out there do this by buying stuff on ebay and selling it back on ebay for a profit!! This is called ebay arbitrage. For this to work you need an expertise in a genre enough to see when a product is worth a lot of money but isn’t attracting a lot of bid attention (usually due to poor presentation, marketing or being put in the wrong ebay category). Once purchased at (what you know) to be a bargain price you place it on ebay yourself. This time however you place it in the right category, present it superbly and market it successfully and make a great big profit.

Think you don’t have the expertise? You’d be surprised. Look on ebay and see what sort of things they sell. There’s bound to be something that you have knowledge of through work or hobbies. With some research you’ll soon learn to spot a bargain in your area and as time goes on you’ll become more and more of an ‘ebay expert’ in your field and this is when the cash will start to role in.

Google Cash

Not as well known as ebay but still profitable for thousands and no website required.

Basically you find online business that will pay you commission for every customer that you send to them that buys one of their products. This is called Affiliate marketing.

Then you advertise these products using Google AdWords or another pay-per-click ad system.

When someone clicks on one of your ads and goes on to make a purchase from one of the online businesses mentioned above you get paid your commission.

Obviously you have to pay the company that hosts the pay per click ads every time someone clicks on your ads. However if you’re clever and do your research this will only cost you a few cents each time. With the rewards for each sale generated by one of these ads going into $30/40/50 you can see how this can be very profitable. This methods major advantage is flexibility. As a new craze hits you’re firmly aboard the gravy train. As interest starts to wane you pull you ads and advertise the next ‘big thing’.

Affiliate Marketing with your Website / Blog

As mentioned above affiliate marketing is where you generate leads for companies selling products on the Internet. If one of these leads makes a purchase you get an agreed commission.

For example say you have a website or blog on the subject of travel. As well as details about various destinations around the world you could host advertisements for companies providing flights to those destinations and hotels at those destinations. If one of your visitors clicks on one of these advertisements and makes a subsequent purchase you earn money.

There are also schemes (such as Google AdSense) where you get paid commission for one of your visitors just clicking on one of your ads. No Sale required!

Don’t be put off by the thought of building a website. You don’t have to be a programmer nowadays to build a website. There are many tools available now that allow you build a website just by typing and organising blocks.

Build an Online Store

An online store is a website where you can shop for products or services. Visitors to these sites search or browse for their required item and when found add it to their shopping cart. When ready to make a purchase the visitor checks out and pays for the product via Credit Card or another online payment system such as PayPal.

The biggest and best example of this is Amazon, which started off selling books, and Cds before expanding to sell almost everything.

Obviously I wouldn’t recommend going into competition with Amazon (that would be madness!) but if you can find a niche and market it properly an online store is the most profitable online business there can be.

iPhone. Getting ridculous.

Free Image Hosting at allyoucanupload.com
This picture here is obviously fake, but still hilarious. It may sound silly, but who knows when Apple will get the idea and make these one day?

The Apple iPhone - Why?

In January of 2007, Apple announced that it was entering into the portable phone market with the development and launch of the iPhone. Scheduled for release in June of 2007, the Apple iPhone will be able to play music like an iPod, surf and browse the web, take pictures, showcase videos, send text messages and emails, and, maybe, make or take a phone call or two.

Big deal.

For every new cell phone or cell phone company that introduces itself to the market, proclaiming that their particular model of cell phone can, say, play music, there are dozens of other names and brands, some popular, some not, that can do exactly the same thing. What's the catch? What's the hook? Where's the innovative technological design that's supposed to make the public stand up and take notice?

Now, the Apple iPhone does have complete virtual touch-screen. There are no raised buttons to press and push, and everything is operated with the sense of a finger. Now, that actually is a cool feature, but, it might not be completely practical. Why? Simply because when I look at my hands, I see chubby fingers that are not going to be able to accurately press any button on a small touch screen. Now, unless that screen is 6" across, which, if that were the case, might defeat the entire mobility purpose of the phone.

Why does Apple feel the need to develop and create their own portable phone? Could it be that they really want to revolutionize portable communication? Do they want to make the world a better place? Can they offer something that no one else can?

Look at it this way: why does Lindsay Lohan think she could sing?

Because it's another revenue stream to be mined, that's why? Now, there's no doubt that the iPhone is cool, and will find a popular and receptive audience. But, like Lohan's singing attempts, it doesn't really improve the world and the world wouldn't notice it if it weren't around. It's just there, and it will make money. Partially because of its features, partially because of curiosity seekers, and partially because of people loyal to the brand name.

No one is begrudging Apple for getting in on the portability craze. After all, Apple may have taken that craze to incredible heights with the development and release of the iPod. So, it makes sense, then, to fuse the iPod with a cellular phone. But, it's already been done before.

Maybe the real issue is that if Apple released a phone without web, email, video player and other bells and whistles, that it simply wouldn't sell and just sit there on the shelves. If Lindsay Lohan had to sing on her own merits, she might be joining that lonely phone. But, add some studio effects, create some stylish videos and surround her with talented musicians, and she becomes passable and tolerable.

In today's ultra-connected world, it seems that no one will buy a cell phone for the expressed purpose of having a phone with you while on the go. You need to have everything or your will appear to be nothing.
